This weekend you will have the opportunity to pre-order Advent (chocolate) Wreath calendars for your family or friends to use in their preparation for the sacred season of Christmas, when Christ entered into humanity and began the Kingdom of God on earth.

This will be a fundraiser by the ten (10) youth of our parish who will travel to Poland to participate in World Youth Day 2016 and to listen to and experience Pope Francis and the wider, universal Catholic Church, interacting with young
Catholics from all around the world. Pope Francis will instruct our youth and others on how they are being called to be missionaries of the Church, and to spread the Word of God through living it out in our daily lives. This is a tremendous catechical opportunity for our youth. They will spend time in Poland
visiting religious sites and meeting and working with Catholics the world over, obtaining a broader understanding of both our world and our how our Church is lived out in it. I thank you in advance of your support of our youth, as well as in taking part of this wonderful Catholic tradition of counting down and building-up the correct appreciation and anticipation of the birth of our Lord and Savior, the infant child Jesus. May the season of Christ’s birth and love be lived out in all our homes and hearts. By the way, the chocolate is “low fat.”
