Important Notice for Parishioners Due to the Coronavirus
In General:
Weekday Masses, Baptisms, Weddings, Funeral Masses and Confession begin again on Monday, June 8;
Enter the church through the ATRIUM and exit through the VESTIBULE;
The decision regarding whether to attend Mass in person is left to the individual; the dispensation granted by Archbishop Blair regarding the Sunday Obligation to attend Mass remains in force at this time;
Please contact the parish website, stcatherine.info or the parish office at 658 1642, for availability of televised and virtual Masses and to sign-up for in-person Mass attendance. MASS ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO 100 PEOPLE AND ALL WEEKDAY (DAILY) AND WEEKEND MASSES WILL CONTINUE TO BE LIVESTREAMED/TAPED;
If you or someone in your home is ill, especially with fever or flu-like symptoms or conjunctivitis, please do not enter the church;
There will be no missalettes in the pews (as there is no congregational signing)
Kindly do not leave personal items in the pews, especially tissues, water bottles or other similar items, for health reasons.
If You Are Attending Mass In-Person:
At all times, including entering and exiting the church, practice Social Distancing by staying at least 6 feet from people who do not live in your household;
You must wear a face mask or cloth face covering;
Do not shake hands with others;
Use hand sanitizers; and,
Do not congregate to socialize before or after Mass.
Receiving Holy Communion:
This is a SACRED event, please take your time and know that we all are learning anew together. “Be Calm and Carry On!”

Only one line for Holy Communion, and;
Wear a face mask in line and follow instructions regarding the acceptance of the Sacred Body of Christ and your face mask when you step to the side to consume the Body of Christ.
Kindly note: Since Archbishop Blair has extended his original dispensation for the obligation attend the Sunday Mass for this time, until September 6th, unless otherwise noted, the elderly, those with pre-existing conditions, those who are fearful or anxious and those who are taking care of a sick or homebound person need not be concerned if the miss Mass as the dispensation from the Sunday obligation has been extended. Those in the above mentioned categories are asked to take advantage of our parish’s live-stream .
