RCIA has begun!
October 22nd was the first meeting of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). If you missed it don’t worry—it’s not too late to join. This year we will meet to discuss our faith by whetting appetites to learn more about what the Church teaches and why it teaches these truths. From Basic Catholic Beliefs such as the Trinity, Transubstantiation, Heaven, Hell and Purgatory the History of the Catholic Church (what does it mean to be Apostolic) and the meaning of the Magisterium, to the Seven Sacraments, Grace and Faith Lived Out, the Domestic Church, the Liturgy and more—we will cover the major teachings, Traditions & traditions, and why we believe these sacred things. If you know of someone who is not Catholic but has been thinking about entering the Church, this is a wonderful period of education and discernment. For more information, please contact Fr. Michael at 658 1642 or come to a meeting.
