The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) will begin in our parish on Tuesday, October 12th at 7 p.m. in the Library. The RICA program is designed to welcome and educate those who are interested in becoming Roman Catholics. Whether you are unbaptized or someone who was baptized and raised in one of the denominational Christian churches, i.e., Episcopalian, Lutheran, Congregational, or other, RCIA is meant to lead you into the meaning and love of Christ’s grace and favor, which God entrusted to the Catholic Church for the salvation of the world in all times and places.
In the RICA program you will learn about the founding of the Church, her teachings, mission and ministry in the world; what God intends for your life as a Christian disciple, as well as the meaning and intent of the Sacraments of the Church, the Bible, and so much more. If you or someone in your family is interested in or has thought about becoming a Catholic, then first night is a great opportunity to come and learn more—no commitment—as you discern about the Faith and what it holds for you. Please feel free to join us. If you have questions, please feel free to ask me.
