Our Music Ministry at St. Catherine of Siena is blessed to have so many talented volunteers who help us pray through liturgical music each week. Each of our groups would like to continue to grow this year. If you have ever thought of joining one of the groups, now is the time! Children?s Choir: Sings at the Vigil Mass on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month from Sept. through April. They rehearse on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:20
PM in the Music Room. This choir is open to all children entering grades 2-8. A parent information meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 7 PM. Our first
rehearsal will be Tuesday, Sept. 16th.

Adult Choir: Rehearses on Tuesday nights from 7:30-9PM in the Music Room. This choir is open to all high school and adult singers. We sing at the 11 AM
Mass from September through mid-June and we sing a wide range of music mostly in four part harmony. It is a fun group to be a part of and there are no auditions.
Come and give it a try at our first rehearsal on Tuesday, Sept. 9th!

Contemporary Music Group: Rehearses on Thursday nights from 7-8:30 PM in the Music Room.The Contemporary Music Group sings at the 5 PM Sunday Mass each week and is led by Nicole Poirier. This group is open to singers entering Jr. High through adults. We look forward to another wonderful year of music and hope to welcome even more singers. Our first rehearsal is on Thursday, Sept. 4th.

Making Music Praying Twice: This is a ministry for children age 0-5 with caregiver. It is a program of music and movement, designed to foster the Catholic faith and to enrich education and family life. This is your chance to try out our new program and watch your child grow, make friends, and have fun. While the gift of music education is invaluable, the gift of music combined with prayer is immeasurable.Classes meet weekly and run in three sessions throughout the academic year. The class teacher is Susan Zybert and class size is limited to 12 children. Our first session will run on Fridays at 10 AM from Sept. 19-Dec. 19 in the Music Room. Look for registrationinformation in future bulletins or email Susan to receive one directly, susanzybert@comcast.net
