Keep in mind that May is already upon us and so is the Men’s Club’s annual golf outing, this year scheduled for May 31st. This year’s event has a bit of a twist on the traditional good times and fun filled day—along with fellowship and the great out-doors at Simsbury Farms—our Men’s Club is looking for your help to raise money through this charitable event for health care and for food, supporting the Knights Of Malta Mobile House of Care and our very own Pantry Partners Ministry. Along with catching-up on your Vitamin D, you can spend the day with family and friends and in support of two great Catholic charities that benefits people right here in Simsbury.
First, Pantry Partners provides food each month to Simsbury residents who are having a difficult time making ends meet in this ongoing economic malaise. Your support of this event helps neighbors in need. The Malta Mobile House of Care provides health care services and follow-up treatment to our neighbors in Hartford who have nowhere else to turn for care. I hope you will consider counting your blessings and seeing how you might help someone else, maybe even a neighbor, in need. How can you help? Create a foursome and golf the day away. Become a corporate or individual sponsor, fund a dinner table or drink station, and support us with a raffle gift, give-a-way, or just make a donation. Whatever you do, know that it will make more of a difference than you can imagine. And thank you and bless you for your help.
