Many Thanks to All who Supported our Sacred Heart Epiphany Tree!
I just wanted to highlight the wonderful support this parish gave to the White Christmas Epiphany tree for Sacred Heart Parish. As Susan Hoffman noted, more than 150 gifts were distributed to children in this Hartford parish, along with food and music creating a wonderful celebration of the Epiphany. In many Hispanic cultures, Epiphany is more elaborately celebrated than Christmas morning, especially in the secular sense of gift-giving. Our parish did a great job in making this tradition a great time for all. I especially wish to thank the Brett and Susan Hoffman and Bonnie and Dick Daly families along with all the volunteers who made this happen. Thank you!

Thanks to all the Christmas Decorators!
A sincere thanks to all those who decorated the church for the Christmas holy days, from the wreath- and garland-hangers, to the altar flower creations and the altar linens to the tree decorators and the manger team: thank you! And I could not forget to Mike Grappone, Mike Daly and Dennis Hannon for the beautiful outdoor lights on the many trees and shrubs.

Closing Out the Advent Giving Tree Project!
Thanks to Karen Carew for her work in executing the Advent Giving Tree this year, which raised an amazing $40,868.00. Karen has worked tirelessly for years in developing and overseeing this wonderfully generous program—thanks to our parishioners—and all of you for your support!
