April 5, 2025THIS Monday night, at 7 p.m., we will host a penance service at St. Catherine of Siena Parish for your Easter duty. Three priests, Fr. John Melnick, rector of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Monsignor Thomas Barry, pastor emeritus of St. Patrick Church in Farmington, and I will hear confessions.
At 7 p.m. we begin with a brief prayer service followed by individual confessions accompanied by comforting music from Susan Zybert, our music director. Once the penitent has completed their confession and penance, they are free to leave (there is no closing prayer or blessing).
