Just a reminder of the importance of the Census mailing you recently received. As the Archdiocese reviews the growth or decline of a parish, its effectiveness in communicating the Gospels’ Good News, and the way in which it meets the
spiritual needs of individuals and promotes the Church’s teachings, we need to “make our case” that we are a growing and vibrant parish. We have seen tremendous growth in the last five years; our religious education program is going against all societal population trends by growing year-after-year; our Youth Ministry program continues to attract more and more youth in both the senior high and junior high age groups and ministries continue to grow and change to meet the needs of our community.
If you received a mailing: we ask you to update current information—new births, or new family members, if you moved then new address, and family members who have gone home to God. We also would like email addresses and other contact
information so that we can communicate important parish and Church information in a timely manner.
If you did not receive a mailing and attend here—our mistake and we need to include you and your family in our restrictive database. Please call the parish office 658 1642 and request a Census card. I know that some folks who have left a parish to join a new one are sometimes uncomfortable in calling the old parish and asked to be removed. We can do that for you, just note it on the card and we will take care of it. In the long run, if you are not attending the old parish then it makes sense to update them so that they are not spending resources to
communicate to a non-member.
