I want to thank all of our parishioners who volunteered in the 2012 Annual Leaf Rake sponsored by the Men’s Club. I have only heard great things from the leaf-rakers and have received numerous phone calls and letters for the
homeowners who benefitted from your generosity and compassion. The gratitude from those whom you helped is overwhelming. One story that came to my attention was of a home owned by a single mother who is having some difficulties in these tough economic times. Her lawn was raked by "mistake" as she was not on our list. She left her home in the morning wondering how she’d ever get her property taken care of—and when she came home that afternoon was stunned to see it in perfect order. Acci-dent? God’s providence! Her tears spoke volumes. Thank you to all who gave up their Saturday to be a "good neighbor" and care for those in need. A special thanks to

Mike Reilley and Bill Tagliatela for coordinating this annual event. Mike Reilley has for years been the master-mind behind the execution of this
community service and we thank him for his dedication. This year Mike has transitioned out of this long-held role and we appreciate his work and his "training" of our new leader, Bill Tagliatela who did an outstanding job. Thanks gentlemen
