As pastor, I am proud of our Youth Ministry and all of the hard work, good fun and Christ-like action of the youth of this parish under the direction of Judy Pluta, our Director of Youth Ministry.
I would like to invite all of our Junior and Senior-High students to consider joining in on the youth ministry experience here at St. Catherine of Siena. If you want to feel part of something bigger than yourself by going on a Mission Trip, raising money for a community need, if you want to help the homeless at Thanksgiving time by baking apple pies; if you never participated in the Hopmeadow Street Scavenger Hunt and make new friends or been on a Teen Weekend Away seeing what you are really made of, if your just looking to find out what real prayer is like for teens, what’s everybody else’s concerns or hopes, if you just want to be part of a fun group that does a lot of good and helps develop meaningful friendships all while getting to know more about the God who created you, loves you and cares about your life—then come and see what Youth Ministry is all about. I think you will like it, and I know it will offer positive opportunities.
