The Contemporary Music Group is looking for singers for their 5PM Sunday Mass each week. Rehearsals are on Sundaynights at 4:00 PM. Please contact group leader Nicole Levesque,

Background: Our Music Ministry consists of 3 music groups: Adult Choir, Contemporary Music Group and Children’s Choir. Our members have a passion for music and take pride in providing the music for our weekend and Holy Day Masses. Each of the groups welcomes new members any time of year.
How the Ministry operates:
Adult Choir: All singers of high school age and up are invited to join our Adult Choir that sings at the 11 a.m. Masses throughout the school year. We rehearse on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:45 p.m. in Russell Hall and arrive on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. It is a fun and welcoming group that enjoys singing in harmony. We look forward to seeing all our returning singers and encourage anyone interested in joining to come to our first rehearsals on Sept. 6th & 13th to give it a try.
Children’s Choir: We are excited to restart our Children’s Choir program at St. Catherine of Siena! If you have children who like to sing and are in grades 2-8, I strongly encourage your family to join this choir. Singing at Mass during these formative years is a wonderful way to grow as a musician and to grow in faith. Children’s Choir rehearses on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:20 p.m. in Russell Hall and sings twice a month at Masses. This year we will join the Adult Choir once a month at 11 a.m. to sing at the Faith Formation Mass and then sing once a month at the Vigil Mass. Our first rehearsal will be Tuesday, September 20th from 6:30-7:20 p.m. in Russell Hall.
Contemporary Music Group: This group sings at the 5 PM Sunday Mass each week (Sept – June) and is open to singers entering Jr. High through adults. The Contemporary Group has recently changed leadership and transitioned in a direction with newer, modern music from artists including Sarah Hart, Matt Maher, Jesse Manibusan, Steve Angrisano, Curtis Stephan, as well as many others.
Instrumentalists: At certain times of year we are also in need of instrumentalists so, if you play a musical instrument, are of high school age or older, and would like to help us out, please contact Susan Zybert – (860) 404-5514.
