Dear Families,  

Hello! My name is Grace Treacy, and I am very excited to be your new Faith Formation Coordinator  this year. I hope I have the opportunity to meet many of you before the school year begins, and if not,  I invite you to come introduce yourselves as the year goes on.

As we are approaching September, I want to kindly remind you to register your child(ren) for this  year's cycle. To ensure that your child is enrolled for this upcoming year, please complete the  registration process using the link on the parish website under the ‘Faith Formation’ tab, or by going  to https://bit.ly/FaithFormationRegistration2024. The registration deadline was June 30th, so please  finish this short and simple process as soon as possible.  

This year, like last, the fees are as follows: $110 for 1 child, $190 for 2 children, and $270 for 3 or  more children. Students entering the second grade will have an additional fee of $35 for the preparation for their sacrament of First Holy Communion. If there are any financial concerns, please  do not hesitate to contact me at gracetreacyff@gmail.com or at (860) 658-4737. We do not want any  child to miss out on learning about their faith due to monetary concerns.

Faith Formation provides our children the opportunity to grow and be more comfortable in their  faith. It is an essential part of Saint Catherine’s mission to form new and passionate disciples of Jesus  Christ. This all begins in the home, and this year’s program is all about bringing the whole family into  the conversation, so that YOU can have fruitful conversations about faith with your children.

We are always looking for new catechists every year, so if you are interested or know of anyone who  might be interested, please contact me sooner rather than later.
