Join Kathi Bonner on three consecutive Tuesday evenings for Bible Study in Russell Hall,7 pm-8:15 pm. We will uncover the meaning of three well-known but often misunderstood Biblical texts: June 4th; John's Gospel story of the Risen Christ meeting his Disciples on the shore of Tiberias. We hear this Gospel on the Third Sunday of Easter while still grappling with the events of Good Friday.
On June 11th we will plumb the depths of meaning in The Beatitudes as told by Saint Matthew and stenciled on the walls of our church. What do they mean and how do we apply them to our lives today?
On June 18th we will uncover some unique ways of seeing Jesus through the eyes of Saint Mark who provides us with a portrait of Jesus in the shortest Gospel.
This series is perfect for those new to Bible Study as well as returning parishioners, Catechists, Confirmation Candidates and parents who want to deepen their understanding of Scripture to better form their children in the faith. Please register by emailing Kathidre@aol.com. Attendance at all three is not required!
