The Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry (OCSJM) and the Office of the Diaconate of the Archdiocese of Hartford will sponsor a presentation on Human Trafficking: Stolen Lives: A Gospel Response to Human Trafficking on Saturday March 7, at St. James Church in Rocky Hill, from 9 am to 12:00 p.m.
The presentation will offer information about Human Trafficking in Connecticut, how to identify potential victims, what you can do to prevent this crime, and how to support victim survivors.
The workshop is appropriate for adults,especially parents, those involved in outreach ministries, and those working with youth. The program will feature William Rivera, Director of Office of Multicultural Affairs and Immigration Practice for the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, and Alicia Kinsman, Managing Attorney for the legal immigration program at the International Institute of Connecticut.
