That’s right, on July 4 and 5 our parish along with all parishes in the Archdiocese of Hartford are able to offer in-person public Masses on the weekends. This is in addition to our regular 8:30 a.m. Daily Masses. Our summertime Mass schedule is the Saturday Vigil at 5 p.m., and Sunday Masses at 8 and 11 a.m.

How do we return to the Public Mass?

• Make a “holy reservation” by going to our parish website, stcatherine.info and register at by clicking on the Daily & Weekend Mass button;
• The State of Connecticut limits us, due to social distancing, to 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less so reservations are essential;
• Everyone must wear a face mask;
• People living in the same household may sit together, others are required to social distance;
• YELLOW marked PEWS are for occupancy and are noted by 6-foot distancing, BLUE PEWS ARE TO BE LEFT VACANT;
• Hand sanitizer is available upon entry;
• All pews and other human touch-areas are cleaned after each Mass;
• The distribution of Holy Communion follows marked, social distancing on the floor (please note) and only the Sacred Body of Christ is being offered, no Precious Blood at this time;
• A video demonstration, already sent to all parishioners, will be sent out again next week to provide a visual illustration of how to receive Holy Communion. Please watch it; and,
