Bishop Peter Rosazza is coming to St. Catherine on Thursday November 21 at 7pm! The Social Justice Committee is pleased to extend this invitation to the entire St. Catherine Parish. This is a season in which social justice is a prominent part of our faith and community.
A time when we give thanks, a time to show love, and a time care for those in need. As we approach the season of Advent we need to clear our minds to be able to see the pain and suffering of others; open our hearts to find the courage, strength and wisdom to decide to become involved in making a difference in our society of need; and reach out to support the lives of the poor and vulnerable.
Bishop Rosazza will be focusing his talk with us heavily weighted on a social justice theme "Advent: Longing Actively for a New Heaven and a New Earth". He comes to us at a perfect time to prepare us for Thanksgiving and the Advent Season. Please join us with your clear minds and open hearts in Russell Hall on Nov. 21 to discover all that the Bishop has to teach us about Catholic social teachings.
